I have been truly blessed to be able to accomplish so much in the paper craftin' world in such a short time. I only began this crazee passion on October 2, 2009 when I purchased my first Cricut Expression. From there, this passion blossomed into the Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack -- the physical venue in Baltimore where folks can come and hang out and craft for FREE (just bring your own supplies minus the heavy tools), my blogs, and our home here -- the Village. The…

Working With Watercolors
We're warming up to our second First Fridays event in December! Remember -- for December the event is actually on the second Friday of the month due to a prior commitment. This month we'll play with watercolor pencils and/or crayons. So come on out, bring your watercolors if you have them, and let's see how adding color to our projects with watercolors changes the design playing field. We often add color with Copics or other markers, pretty papers, and other embellishments. Let's see what watercolors can do for us!
**Please bring a small (not tiny), flat paint brush with you and your watercolor crayons or pencils. If you do not have any watercolors, you can share the ones at the Scrap Shack. Don't go running out to buy watercolors unless you know you're going to use them regularly!

This Forum will explore the art genre called "dark arts." The imagery in some of the projects contain gothic, mythical, magical images and depictions of wizadry and the like. This beautiful art form has an abundance of unique techniques which we all can learn and apply to our projects -- be they of the dark art genre or otherwise.

As 2011 winds to a close and the new year is upon me, I reflect upon 2011 -- the good, the bad, and the ugly. So grateful to Allah (swt) that the ugly only came near the end of the year and was very short lived, that the bad was not so bad, and that the good outweighed it all! Been writing more and getting closer to completing one of the books I am working on. Will be partnering with Bold Evolution in the new year YAY!! Can't wait to be able to give back in that manner!! What a GREAT…
